Spent the summer of 1986 there, first in San Antonio and then Witchita Falls. All I can say is DA*N it gets hot there in the summer!!

Went to San Antonio for my youngest sons basic training graduation in 2000. The river walk is beautiful and the Alamo is interesting.

I went there a few years ago and loved it.I'd like to go back one day. I did a layover in (I believe it was) Dallas/Fort Worth airport when I was on my way to Branson, Missouri for a job. This was back in 1998 and was for Melinda The First Lady of Magic, who was performing at the "Branson Magical Mansion" (formerly the "Wayne Newton Theatre"). Didn't get to go out and see the locale, nor did I even get to leave the airport, as the layover was only for about an hour or so- too little time to go goofin' off. |
