Sitting in the dark I cried
Wondering what I did so wrong?
I gave a heart faithful and true
And a love forever strong

But it was so easy for you to walk
And now someone takes my place
But I behaved as I always do
And carried myself with grace

Knowing you had made your choice
I went on with my life
Never realizing how intensive you were
And how you filled everyday with strife.

So I have been blessed with freedom
And you still live the same way
Now missing me and Calling me back
But Im very content to stay

Be careful what you wish for
because somethings cant be returned
You just might get what you asked for
And some lessons are harder to learn.
