I am naturally shy but I would never be embarrassed by someone I like unless they did something foolish in public

Is it normal to be embarrassed about who you like?
Normal? Geez. That hurts my head. I was wondering if I even know what it is to be normal, and also to like somebody and be normal at the same time. The two things almost seem to like "did you see a rainbow and a shooting star at the same moment?"

Why, did someone tell you that you're normal?

Embarrasment comes from being vulnerable to what other people think, therefore it is outside of you.
Internally, you like who you like, externally, you expose yourself to other people's opinions. An internal life is real....external is propaganda. |

Friends never make assumptions about you. They never expect a reason to go out with you. In fact friends only expect you to be you.

And friends care enough not to make judgments about the decisions we make, no matter how different from what they would choose.
