 Have you ever asked someone you were dating who doesn't attend church to attend with you one week? Did they and How did it go? Or have you been asked and declined?

i have asked ex's to go to church with me and actually i only asked the ones who i knew would be ok with it. surprisingly, they were def. cool with it but looked a little annoyed and anxious to get out. its soo hard to find someone completely ook with it.

I am a Christian and I am dating a guy that doesn't go to church...It makes me sad sometimes, but I respect his decision:angel:

I avoid bars and churches with equal passion.

I consider them both to be dens of iniquity.

It is hard to find someone who doesn't attend to attend without wanting to leave. They feel as though they have to be there as opposed to wanting to be there. If I date someone who is on the same spiritual level as me i don't have to worry. But that narrows the playing field, and I may not bring someone to a message that they never knew they needed to hear. In my opinion.

I am a catholic and while I don't go to confessions or take Holly Communion (Being divorced) I go to service from time to time
I hate fanaticism that some folks like to impose here.

Once I asked a girl I was with for a while if she would attend. She was not a catholic or terribly religious but she attended like we attended an event. No problem

I find the special occasions are the best time to introduce someone to the church like Midnight Mass during Christmas or Easter Mass

Good luck:smile:
