when you're hanging out at a public place with some friends... how do you like to be approached by a female? what are some tips for females that like to take the first step and approach males, instead of waiting to be approached?

They usually come up to me and ask if they know me or something like that. Or talk to me about something they see that I am interested in

Just be real, friendly and come up and introduce yourself. Be yourself.

just be yourself, start a convo about something you see about him. let him know that your into him.


i love it when a women makes the first move. it lets me know that if they want somthing, she has the ability to do something about it an she knows what she wants you know?

yeah i know, that's why i like taking the initiative. but sometimes after the first "hello" the guy gets quiet like he's waiting for the girl to talk... so i was asking what you guys thought and what would keep your attention and get you talking back.

*This very rarely happens to me* I would say start off with something about sports, ask a question about cars, a compliment or ask if they would like to have a drink with you. Some guys are shy too.

Like its been said, some guys are shy too. But if you take the initiative than it helps out a whole lot. As for me, (cause everyones different) I just enjoy metting someone who shows interest, its some kind of mutual thing that will eventually happen within the first 2-10 minutes of the conversation.

I love it when a girl approaches me. All they gotta do is say hi. In fact..I can hardly recall a time when I was doing the approaching. Even a smile is enough to get me to say something to her.

There are so very many ways to approach someone in a bar or club one can't even list them all. The truth is there is no right or wrong way.

For the ladies, of course, it's much easier as you gals can be much more direct in your approaches. The trick is to not be afraid, and (if you want a decent guy) don't throw yourself at it. You set up some bait, and wait for a bite. I've been approached by women who have claimed that I "looked familiar". But honestly all you truely need is a smile and maybe a short "locking of the eyes" (just be careful not to stare).

My advice to both men and women is to go out to a bar or club (bear in mind you will most likely not meet the man or woman of your dreams in this environment) and start talking to people. It's alittle awkward at first, but you will become comfortable quicker than you think and you won't need a playbook of tips to meet someone.

I prefer it when she just comes up and says something -- all too often, I end up being followed around like some sort of prey....but no one ever says anything.

The scenario that I find especially interesting (this only happens at places like malls, Wal-Mart, or a carnival) is when I'm stalked by a group. The group splits up, and the ones who follow me are in constant cell phone contact with the "remote" group. The one who is actually interested is always in the "remote" group and would prefer to have her minions do the actual stalking. I have no idea why that is.

I have occasionally resorted to writing a note ahead of time, handing it to one of the stalkers when they pass by, and saying, "Here, give this to your friend." It has resulted in some interesting situations.

All in all, I think it would be better to just say something to me and forget all the espionage and intrigue.

When she walks up, drops to her knees and proceeds to unzip my pants. I take that as a sign that she might be interested.

It all depends upon the environment you are in. Just being friendly and striking up a conversation without any agenda is the best way to go in my opinion.
