Disturbing and bizarre. Not my cuppa, but then I'm not a David Lynch fan.

MUCH prefer Mulholland Drive. Surreal and unexplainable, no matter how many viewings.

Velvet? TOO cruel, guess that means true to life.

I do LOVE Isabella Rosselini though...flowerforyou

I'm not a huge Lynch fan, but this is one of his better efforts. The Elephant Man is better.

I love Dennis Hopper as Frank Booth.

Superb story and casting. Surreal. Captivating.
Subtly disturbing. Obsessive compulsive.

Fine.

I've seen the movie a number of times - had it on VHS, now have it on DVD.

I like the movie a lot.

To me, the weirdest and creepiest thing about the movie is that it's a rather accurate depiction of the world's underbelly. The movie was produced to set a very realistic mood for the events and chracters involved - it's just as disturbing as being around that stuff in real life......

I would not say the movie is an accurate depiction of a healthy practice of BDSM, however. Its rather too warped for that.

Oh it's a sick movie...Roger Ebert gave some very bad reviews for it too, I recall.
