Alright, I'm going insane with bordem. Most of my friends deployed recently to Iraq with other units. I have some friends here but they are really more like acquaintances. I'm looking for ideas of things to do in these areas. Single person things.. Never really been single at any point in my life so right now everything is blah. I hate being inside all the time doing nothing. Let the ideas flood!

get some hobbies man, go ride a bike, go see a movie, I dunno, I've been single forever and always find stuff to do, just use your imagination and get out of the house already

If you're into paintball there's a place on Veterans Memorial (maybe a mile down). Check out some of the clubs (not the best) but gets you out. Maybe a few sports bars? There are some really nice things things to do in Austin if you don't mind the drive. Hope this helps.
