Well the first question I'd ask is, how old is your little brother?
hello, goose!!
I would seat my mom down with my little brother and have an adult conversation with them, and make sure that she understand his wish and he understand her fears of him leaving!! |

I agree with Morena.......

I wouldn't be able to do anything. My mother passed on 22 years
ago. |

others may be... Best wishes! |

SO, with you being 18, goose, I suspect your brother may be somewhere
about 15, 16? If he is not being physically, emotionally, sexually, or financially abused in his home, then I tend to agree with Mum... As to being a *****, for not allowing her son to wander off, to wherever he chooses to go? Is it his dad's, is he safe there? not enough information... |
some times it is difficult to see that what your parents do is for your
own safety and not because they want to torture you |

In the absence of certain potentially-useful details, I would have to go
along with Morena on this one. Communication is definitely required here, and it sounds like it's been somewhat lacking up to this point. Disclaimer: This opinion subject to change with the acquisition of additional information. |
