After reading this, I firmly say WAIT! Why the hell do you think you need a "symbol" to express that you are over someone?

To be quite honest, that just sounds like you are not over the woman and want to brand yourself for life in some way to prove you are! That's just stupid to me.

if you're like me - any piercing will get accidently ripped out or tugged at due to some bad luck or clumsiness.

get inked. its a lot easier to cover up.

and better still - design it yourself. there's less room for regret that way.

but be warned - they're addictive ;o)

No it's not that at all, I've already told her to **** off and stay away from me, especially since she was really crazy and stalking me, getting into my dorm room when I wasn't there and doing all kind of crazy s**t. I'm the one that broke up with her and it's honestly the best thing I've done, she was really dragging me down. Getting this done is more or less a me actually doing something that makes me happy.

If you need approval , then don't do it. You should be absolutely sure it's what you want.

It's not that I need approval, I just want other peoples opinions, in the end, I'm the one that's choosing what I do and it could be the exact opposite of what everyone is saying.

i see your point of that too. i have a basic idea of a tattoo-abstract/ying&yang with names of loved ones. then again-i dont need to display it-my love for them should be shown whenever and however. uggg-then there is the belief of our bodies are our temple. it just boils down to each and every person!

Seeing as how I'm pierced and Tattoo'd, you have to choose what you want the most or what you think will work best for you.


I have a distaste for lip piercings, but if anything it would close up if you change your mind but is not have the ability to cover up.


The tattoo is pretty much permanent but you can get it anywhere you want and it's much more a reflection of a memory or expression of you as a person.


Either way, I'd say only do it if you are sure and for yourself, not to get back at anyone or because someone told you that you should.

make sure its what you want, if you have indecision now about it(the either or factor) then wait, its a symbol of you, either way..20 years from now will you still want that symbol?, how about sixty years?

Yeah, I completely agree with you lol they're both something I really want to do, I'm just not sure which to do first because at this point, I'll probably only be able or willing to pay of only one of them.

yuck to liprings or them big things they put in for earrings and destroy a perfectly good earlobe

If you do not know what to do, then don't do either. You shouldn't get a tattoo just because people will like you or whatever. You should only get a tattoo if you think it's what is right for you lifestyle. It's really just common sense.
