be a hero?

Let's say you were commuting to Manhattan on the day the plane crashed in the river. Would you have stopped and seen if you could help or cursed at the fact that traffic was at a standstill and you were going to be late for work?

If I were close enough to help, I most certainly would have. If I were able to do that though, I wouldn't consider myself a hero at all - just human.

I could be a hero...but fame rewards the holder of the cam-corder faster than it rewards the superhero captured sacrificing their life.

Lets be honest. Most people don't know what they would do until the situation arises. We all like to think we would be heros but until we are faced with the fear a person has to overcome to be a hero we don't truly know what we would do.

Absolutely try to help...
Not about being a hero- it's just the right thing to do.

Been there, done it before, will do it again. Sometimes, I'm even paid to do it.

Wouldn't have thought twice. I would've jumped right into the river to help if I had to.

I'm a definite Florence Nightingale personality type. I'd have been SO on it Jack! Somethings are just 1, 2, 3, GO! - instinctual.

Some, Ok many, would be a mess and a real pain to have on the scene. They know and leave or spectate. No harm, no foul - just placement really.

Guess I've just got the genes to pitch in during crisis. EVERYONE has some useful skillset, yeah? One lives in hopes...waving
