I guess the obvious question would be to ask is it stuck and have you tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol?

Yes ma'am! I've been trying to clean it for a good 45 mins but they make these things so you can't take them apart and clean them. It's silly and inconvenient!

I know this won't help much but I have found that if you leave it alone for a day or so it gets back to working all on it's own.......or instead of rolling it down roll it on an angle to the left and/or right and that usually does the trick for me...Good Luck!

I'm almost to that point, if they weren't so damn expensive then I would have by now.

the wireless ones are about twenty bucks, and they work grand, and they don't have a stupid ball, they work with a laser.flowerforyou

The mac ones are a lot more than that, but I am thinking of just replacing it with a regular PC mouse.

Yeah, Macs are for nerds.

When PC learns what data cable width has to do with data transfer, we'll talk. Til then, they're screaming the Hertz in first gear.

Back to the OP. Does it have the triangular screws or no screws at all. We had a cross-platform rollerball that spontaneously highlighted things and erased them, called it voodoo mouse.
