How much and what kind of aid does the U.S. provide to Israel? Israel, with a population of roughly 6.3 million, receives more U.S. aid each year than any other country, and has held that distinction since 1976. This is roughly the same amount given to all the countries of sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean combined during the same time period. Do some research and find that the blockade of gaza came first. those people were being starved out. Stop with the propaganda allready and get real. EXACTLY!!!! The blockade came because Palestine was importing OFFENSIVE weapons and made it clear they were planning on doing something to Israel. Propaganda? PLEASE! What is it going to take for many of you to finally wake up and smell the coffee? Israel does not target innocent civilians. But Hamas DOES.  when you fire a rocket targeted at a city of civilians indiscriminately whom do you think you are trying to attack? when soldiers open fire at you from someone's residence and you return fire at them and their command structure that is hardly indiscriminate. the white phosphorous charge has been debunked. Look, Time and time again the UN wants the us to pay the greater share for all of their operations. The UN is responsible for leveraging Pakistan from India and look at what that brought us, Likewise Iran exists thanks to the UN stealing land from Kuristan and the Kurds. What did that get us? ALL of this time the Arab nations have been looking for a way to wipe out the Jew and Israel. IF the UN was all of that they would have taken Mugabi out of Zimbabway. We would not have had to be the sole efforts in Serbia stopping the Ethnic Cleansing. IF the UN was all that they would have done something about Iran already becoming a nuclear threat. If the UN was all of that they would be up the asses of the Arab nations to back off of Israel or make them face getting their asses handed to them by the world. Instead it always falls to the US to clean up the mess the UN makes. It always comes down to US dollars funding a bulk of UN operations. The UN is ALWAYS berating us over every and anything we do. Do you even know anything about history? Do you know what organization acted like the UN before it existed? It was called the League of Nations. They were the ones who ushered in WWII appeasing the Germans and then the Russians leading us right into the Cold War. Now the UN is trying to appease the Islamic fundamentalists! Next we need to stop fighting like a pack of pussies and hit Iran with EVERYTHING we got and take their religious leaders and let out friends the Kurds take care of them. Since the Kurds are Islamic when they behead the Mulahs that Run Iran Islam will have nothing to say. We need to ramp up our own manufacturing capacities and give China the same economic grief they gave us. We need to have Russia enter the picture more as allies instead of foes and have them flex some of their military muscle against the enemies of peace with us and end our on going belligerence toward them. We need to throw the UN out of New York and form a different version of the UN where all member nations stomp the living crap out of any belligerent nation and those that dare threaten nuclear war should get invaded and nuked on like mad to show the rest of the world to play nice or be taken out of the game. Part of the reason I didn't join the military was I was not about to fight a war with my hands tied behind my back. If I am to go to war then I want to really make war. Many who post against war have no idea what war is really like! I knew an Afghani family that emigrated to America during the Russian invasion. The father was a member of the freedom fighters there. His fifteen year old son was a sniper at thirteen and the kid lived to prove himself a man to his father. The boy had over 200 confirmed kills even though his father was out in the fields taking on Russian troops more directly. The man hated war but was a true warrior. He had the BALLS like his son to fight for what they believed in. They hate the UN for their lack of response when Russia invaded and then the Taliban. For those who protest war, If you are not willing to fight and die for what you believe in SHUT THE HELL UP! You rights come at the sacrifice of those before us and you are wasting their efforts with the ignorant and unenlightened crap you spew! This nation has done more in the name of freedom than ALL of the member nations of the UN. That is a FACT! If the enemy is landing on my shores I do not need a uniform to go after them. Our first incursion into Iraq I swore up and down we would not take Baghdad and would have to go back to Iraq. 12 years later guess what! We still are at war with North Korea when that should have been resolved years ago. We should have been on Ho Che Min's side in Vet Name instead of fighting him. He was a former ally of ours in WWII and many a British and American pilot owes their lives to the Vietnamese rescuing them. Time and time again our leadership screws the pooch. The rescue of our embassy during the Iran thing with Jimmy Carter (who was one of the worst presidents ever) was a total cluster fu**. If they are landing on our shores I do not need a military leader to tell me how to fight. Compare me to a French Partisan during WWII. I have gotten into fights for what I believe in and if attacked I want to shed the blood of our enemy and their people, not have my hands tied to "rules of conduct." I also have a distinct problem the way our military conducts things. Lately they have not been treating our soldiers as expendable like we have in campaigns like Hamburger Hill. I knew a Marine who was there and he said things about that fight that has me wondering what the hell our military was trying to prove. We could have dropped an air strike on the hill and sent in the troops but instead we just sent in the troops to get slaughtered. I do not feel like dying for some political cause. Like General Patton said, "The honor is not to die for your country. There is no honor in dying. The honor is making the other poor bastard die for his country!" My idea of war is you draw a line on a map. Everything on the other side of that line dies no matter who they are. Then we hit them from every angle and drive them into their holes. Once we find the holes we pump in napalm and light it up. The only enemy that I would let live are the ones who surrender. I greatly appreciate General Savanna and his Scorched Earth Policy. That is how we should fight wars, not sissy little slaps to the back of the hand. Hell, if I was fighting in the middle east I would intentionally slaughter a pig in the middle of town. Please tell me what military power we faced the second time? Did we not just walk into Bagdad? Where was all that military might? The war in Iraq should be called a police action. We are not fighting a formidable army. We are fighting the people. Wait did you not say if they came to our land you fight fight to the death? So what do you think they are doing???????? We created more of the people that we went in to take out!!!! See I understand our miltary power. We had 3 carriers in the gulf that one alone had the airpower that Iraq had before the first war. Not counting its missle capabilities!!!! Kinda of a 800lb bully fighting a 10lb weakling! I will fight any person who denies anybody of the fought and died for rights. You do not have to be in the military to earn your stripes. I have done a LOT of volunteer work and I really can't afford to do it some times but I still do and I never hang around for any pat on the back. I especially do not ask for or want any kind of recognition. I do what I do for reasons many would not understand. As kid I volunteered at the VA Hospital off and on in Los Angeles and it was soldiers who convinced me not to join. They said I had the kind of personality that would have gotten me into a lot of trouble. Unlike the Movie Full Metal Jacket where "Gomer Pyle" committed suicide from a DI climbing his ars all the time I would have plugged a grenade up some DI's ars. I do not sit on my ars and complain like many other whiners do. I do not wave signs around and try to be like all the passive aggressive 'John Lennon is savior' crowd. Heck, I would have done more work for the Corizone Foundation building housing for the poor in Mexico last year but due to the current situation there all operations were canceled that year and this year.
So what was the last actual act of volunteer work you done? SO F***ing what I did not serve in the armed forces. I try to serve in other ways at home. Go peddle your bull**it elsewhere. I am doing something to try to make my community a better place. All protesters do is make a lot of noise. Put your ars where your mouth is for a change. You think I am some spoiled privileged white bred American chosen son? I had to get where I am on my own without help from anyone and the whole time I am watching my own damn country fall apart. I am not rich or well to do at all. I am just a man who is trying like hell to make it in an unjust and biased world but I have one thing going for me that many others do not have. I am educated and I can see the propaganda from both sides. What it all boil down to is that Palestine crys about oppression the whole time they take cheap pot shots at Israel and a whole bunch of Bleeding hearts cry about how bad Israel is being. Try living in Israel for a year and see if you talk that Bull**it after that. Israel has been doing a lot to end settlement of the Gaza but no matter how hard they try the world still gives them crap. If you Israel bashing misinformed and sycophantic people want me to do something about it send me money so I can fund up a mercenary army to drive Israel out of Palestine but keep this in mind, I would have every single one of the members of Hammas my organization could catch summarily executed. But then again Palestine could end all of this if they just handed Hamams leadership and members over to the Israelis. That would be the ONLY olive branch I would accept if I was Israel. Like I said if you got the money I got the will to make it happen so do not call me lazy, uninformed, or Ignorant. Thanks to Jimi Carter and his handling of Iran we have the problems we face today. Also America Made Saddam Hussein! Then we took him out. We made the problem we had to deal with. The real enemy behind the scenes is big oil, big business, the bankers, and other power players behind the scenes manipulating everything though human greed using money. We need to stomp on the Jihad until they are impotent and then squeeze the life from what remains of them. We can not be tolerant of ignorance and blind obedience! Sorry but I am not buying the whole propaganda issue. The fact is Palestine tried to build up arms to fight Israel and they got blockaded. Palestine shot at Israel instead of trying to prove that they wanted to be good neighbors. Now they are getting their asses handed to them. As proof they released an aerial photo which indeed showed the school and the mortar. But within a short time the official army liar had to admit that the photo was more than a year old. In brief: a falsification. Later the official liar claimed that "our soldiers were shot at from inside the school." Barely a day passed before the army had to admit to UN personnel that that was a lie, too. She is actively involved with in her college helping bring kids hurt in conflicts overseas to the US so they can get proper medical care... So since you arnt man enough to deal with a DI, I can say Im glad you didnt join. You use "We need" alot. I dont see rockets hitting your neighborhood...If they were maybe you would join up!!!!!!! I dont ask for nothing but the rights that those men and woman have died for. To deny anyone thoses rights whether you agree with them or not means those men and woman died in vain. I personally will not let that happen. Have you ever been to the Middle East? I was there for 6 years. I know all about us supporting Sadaam first hand. The blockade came because Palestine was importing OFFENSIVE weapons and made it clear they were planning on doing something to Israel. Propaganda? PLEASE! What is it going to take for many of you to finally wake up and smell the coffee? Do we have to suffer a nuclear weapon going off in say New York to get your attentions finally to the problems we as a free nation face. Israel exists among wolves who would eat them given the chance. The threats they face are RIGHT next door. At least we have two oceans insulating us from the middle east. Why do you so eagerly omit the history of Palestine? (Palestine is all the area now called Israel) Why do you so easily forgive the terrorist activities which made Israel a State and condemn the Palestinians for theirs! Wrong is wrong right? Or are you just prejudice against Muslims? Its obviously either one of those, or you just have no idea about the history of the Israeli's who you so readily defend! Israel was founded LONG before Palestine but then again once upon a time Palestine and Israel were neighboring kingdoms pre-Rome. Israel has JUST as much of a right to exist but I disagree how the UN apportioned things! For a while Palestine didn't even exist as a nation until the UN redrew the regions boarders as we know them now. I have Muslim friends and I can discuss Islam with them and not have them getting all "us vs. them" on me. I am not Christian and I am not Islamic. I have an issue with any religion that demands blind obedience! At least my Islamic friends understand that I will tolerate others beliefs as long as they tolerate mine. We can even discuss our faiths and beliefs and try to find the middle ground. I also have a total issue with ANY Jihadist! Most of them are total cowards! If they were such noble warriors why do they pick on civilians? Why do they war on women and children? Heck, America's founding fathers were a bunch of hedonistic party animals. England's leadership is BATHED in its own blood. I am getting tired of all the appeasement going on. We as a nation should be doing a lot more to crush the Jihad. I refuse to lay olive branches down before those who will harm me! Islam made it clear they will cleanse the world in fire and purge the rest of us "unfaithful." I am supposed to give my heart to Islam? I won't even give it to Jesus or God. I got a life to live here and now and when I have to I will face God standing on my feet. Again let me say this one more time, Israel is not exactly innocent but likewise they clearly are defending themselves! Heck, Israel owes US more than one apology for their own sins against us. Right now though the issue at hand is Palestine's actions and what it brought upon themselves. Maybe Palestine should wake up and realize siding with hate groups and politically hostile political parties is only going to get their asses kicked some more. There is a lot Palestine could have done to better their own situation without having to piss on Israel's lawn. |
