This morning I made it from the bed to the drawer with all the pills and to the kitchen to get a drink to down them with, lol. It's getting better... Tomorrow, we are making a 70 mile trip to a quaint little town just to relax. Tons of little shops, hand dipped ice cream, gorgeous scenery. So romantic, I can't wait.

I have been doing my two traditional Christmas drives. Up the 101 N and down State Street in Santa Barbara to see the Christmas lights. And down PCH to Malibu Colony to see the big cheesy Nativity scene. I love that. It's just not the holidays without them. My last trip to SB a couple days ago, it was really cold and damp and you could smell wood burning fire places and what was left of the pine at the Christmas tree lots. IT WAS AWESOME. Just got back from the Colony a minute ago, the Pacific is absolutely freaking stunning today. GORGEOUS.

Frisco, NC -> rented a cottage on canal for a week over Christmas! It was heaven on earth! Fishing, kayaking, and walking on the beach - off season so hardly anyone around.
