I spend more time reading than participating. To those unaware, if a person takes a disliking to you, they will email their friends, get together, mass report you and the mods will ban you because of too many reports. True or no. You have been paying attention |

To those unaware, if a person takes a disliking to you, they will email their friends, get together, mass report you and the mods will ban you because of too many reports. Whether it is true or not. This might be true on other sites you've visited, but not here. First, the mods cannot ban you, only Admin makes the decision to ban anyone. Second, every abuse report is handled on its own merit and judged according to the Forum Rules. Mods cannot just willy-nilly decide to recommend someone to be banned. There are guidelines in place and a system of monitoring to prevent mod favortism/abuse. All of our actions are documented and can be viewed by Admin. Sometimes I think it is just easier to cry foul rather than look at your own behavior. Should anyone have concerns about a mod showing favortism, you are encouraged to report it to Admin. |
