4 great films and 1 great tv show about technology gone awry...2001,Strange Days,Planet Of The Apes(the original,not Tim Burton's useless remake) and 1984 with John Hurt and in his last performance Richard Burton. The Prisoner is essential tv. Watch these and you may think twice about which way we are headed. Technology dependent...Socially inept...be seeing you

ah, but social circumstances mandate that we be technology dependent, from indoor plumbing to micro chips.........really now even noting the deterioration...what else are you going to do..become a hermit?

yes it has what if it all shut down the world...at least most of western Europe and the US would sit around completely dumbfounded believing the apocalypse had come...but would be unable to tell anyone that...

Along those lines..... Anybody remember the movie "Silent Running"? I used to love that movie... wonder if it held up over time. I'll have to see if I can find it.
