1.5 cups flour
5 grams yeast 21 grams sugar 6.5 grams salt 21 grams butter 30 ml milk 180 ml water 1. put yeast and a pinch of salt in about 1/4 cup of water for about 10 minutes. 2. mix dry ingredients in the rice cooker bowl. 3. add wet ingredients (including yeast) 4. mix by hand. 5. knead for about 8-10 minutes, adding a little flour if needed. form into a ball. 6. add butter. knead until there are no more lumps. 7. let rise for 1 hour (on cooker's warm setting) 8. pick up dough and drop from about 50 cm 9. let rise for another hour 10. turn cooker on (bake 1) 11. flip (bake 2) 12. flip (final bake) |

Wow that is really interesting! I didn't know you could make bread using
a rice cooker. I'll have to try that recipe out. |

i attempted to make it and i failed badly

i dont have bake on mine its cook , or warm... rice cooker is pretty old
lol it browns the rice if i dont turn the warmer off after cooked i have to unplug it lol interesting recipie though! |

i don't think any rice cooker has a bake setting

Maybe they are talking about a rice steamer.
This might be a good one to try in the iron skillet and bake it in the oven at a moderate heat like a cake or regular loaf of bread. |

Just looked at the photos it is definitely a teflon coated regular rice
cooker. |
