people are going to have diffrent views on things and we can all learn from hearing diffrent views and perhaps learning from each other

Oh yeah. The thing is though, if that person can get over the fact. If they can, then there's promise in the relationship.

Sure I don't want to say something to hurt anyone but someone interested in me would know that pretty much from the start. I figure they are going to factor it for what it is, an opinion, and not anything that they necessarily have to get worked up about. If someone is so oppressive that I have to only say what is going to make them happy the sooner I know it and exit the relationship the better.

Yes!..........I'm very shy! I don't get out much, so when I do meet someone I try to have cliff notes ready. I have found that works for me!
