I don't know, it's got it's good points and bad.
I mean like, let's say you have family clear across the U.S, or even in another country, you not only have the option of being able to talk to them but you can see them in real time with the help of sites like Skype or Oovoo. On the other hand, technology has made it possible to find out just about anything we want about a person, whether they choose to have that information out there or not. For example, I was reading on a Forum about a site that gives out names and information of people that have gotten an abortion. When asked how they gain access to that confidential information, they said they pay people that work there to give it up. And then it get's plastered all over the internet. So, like I said, it's got it's good points and bad points. |

Everybody is connected these days and it seems the more we are the less time we spend time actually being with each other. It's a lot easier to call or text from your cell than actually going to see someone, we also meet people from around the world from our own little home by our self in front of our screnn/webcam.
I am guilty of it to, met lots of good people on the internet but not to many did I meet in person. |

I believe it's kinda like the movie "Tron". As individuals we are still unique and technology allows us to express that as new media, devices and other technologies are developed and utilized. But as a whole we are all still in this shell under a thumb that sees us as all the same like a farmer looking at cattle... they're just cattle (in a manner of speaking) I know that many farmers care about their livestock lol.

i feel it has its good points and its bad points ...if i thought it was all bad would i be here but i think we have become desocialized in that we dont know how to treat each other in "the real world"and when it does crash like HAL 9000 did that is when the fun will really begin...as i firmly believe we will revert back to barbarisim...be seeing you
