In case you are not familiar with Darfur, the Sudanese government has
been committing atrocities with the people of Darfur for several years.
Many countries have been calling it genocide for quite a while. Of
course, the United States refused to admit, accept or even look into it
for a long time, years. MM - guess Bush was too busy with his own
righteous war to pay attention.

Anyway, her are some links to get you acquainted with the topic. Plese
look at any others you like, but I will warn you, they are horrifying.
Not since Germany's holocaust have there been such films and pictures
and not since Stalin have there been so many slaughtered for so long
without an outcry from the world.

Do you think it is genocide? Links below, or reseach for yourself.

ONE OTHER QUESTION, do you know if your State has or is actively
persuing Legislative efforts that would prevent taxpayer dollars from
being invested in companies that are actively funding the genocide that
is occurring in Darfur?

Oh, it's genocide all right. It's already cost more lives than the
Holocaust. It is currently the third largest mass termination of human
life in history. Losing out to the Huns at their peak, and to Stalin's
reign over the USSR. It's coming close, though.
