Our company is preparing for potential layoffs. I am in Human Resources and preparing to help those who may face that wrath. I am currently researching resources for those people, perhaps I can be of assistance for re-employment.

I guess he will be able to collect unemployment. Generally when you are laid off yes. Have him look into it, week delay but it may be enough of a buffer to get him by till he finds another job. Laid off over 1/2 of our shop in the past 6 months.. sucks to see the guys go, hoping to pick back up the good ones when times are better. Best of luck to your rommie! |
