Exactly, babysteps....
Or you can say: "Wont you give me three steps, Gimme three steps mister, Gimme three steps towards the door? Gimme three steps Gimme three steps mister, And you'll never see me no more." Run and hide? (denial of course) |

Yeah, that's what I feel like doing. Gain a little enlightenment, self-respect, dignity. Learn how to love genuinely a little. Then, ya' back-slide into old, familiar patterns. Feels icky. Self blame can be a terrible thing. Forgetting where you have been wronged and forgiving (or loving too much) even moreso. Bleh ....I need a stretcher. |

“But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet; tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.” -Yeats Spread your dreams under someone's feet. Pearls before swine. You are much too precious, out of all the people in the world there is only one you. And if it hurts, don't let them see you cry you can make And if they stare, don't let (something, something) You can take it Hold your head up Hold your head up Hold your head high. |

No. ....not at all.
Finding comfort in it can be difficult right now, though. Everything in time, I suppose. More disappointed in myself than anything else. |

Study the concept of storgia. It may help you to learn how to qualify others. I applaud you're ability to love openly and honestly even in the face of betrayal and hurt. You are the better person for it.

What's that old saying, one step forward, two steps back? Sometimes it's like that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYJ2Rfiha1U You always find the most inspirational and uplifting songs. Thank you. I love songs that say something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7JNbd6XU14 "There is no new frontier. We have got to make it here" "Satisfy our endless needs, Justify our frailties" The song is about California and I'm native of California until about 2 1/2 years ago. I'm in paradise, currently covered with a beautiful blanket of snow. I've seen the hazy sun, ugly boxes, the pretty plastic people, the power mongers, much of the song, and it all comes down to what I do with what I have and the paradise I make of it all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecy_WgzIupM This song suggests there are things to fill loneliness, and I know of at least a dozen "that day" moments, miserable and lonely. It's like an encouragement to get outside the walls of my home and do something and for my home, make it a part of my paradise. Then again, that's my interpretation as it hooks into my lonely moments and drives me through the sadness. |
