When are you going to see him?

If I have to use up one of my dreams to do it I will.

He and his wife are off today to Ohio, for her work, but plan to see them first of Feb.. Its been about two years.
First thing he did was to stoke up a fire getting the house up to 80*, said that subs are kept cool at 65* or so, and that the warmth was great. I'm glad he is finally out of harms way for a while:smile:

Yeah, I can imagine that it is a great comfort to have him out of harms way. Hopefully you get to see him the time you want.

Rick, I am so glad to hear that. Congratulations!!!! I have been to the base in Groton and saw the Nautilus Sub.

It is amazing that there are 155 souls on board a 33'wide , 365' boat, underwater for great lengths of time. Takes a stable person to be on one.

I was on one once I would not like to serve full time on one.

The guy I am dating did 6 years in a navy sub unit. He didn't seem to mind it. It definitely is not for me. Don't think they have any shoe stores on a sub laugh laugh laugh
