We all know there is a lot of military men and women all over the world doing a lot of different things. Some of them had no chance to celebrate Christmas or New years at home and also didn't receive anything to make it better on them. I would like to try to put together a program on mingle where we get address's of people like this and we try to send them a little something to boost there spirits. So is there anyone out there with me

Oh by the way I know this will sound really biased but the reason i thought of this is cause i am one of the men. I know i am in the states but i worked christmas and new years and never got anything.

no disrespect to the military, but in these economic times wouldnt it be a better idea to put together care packages for the unemployed...again,no disrespect but if you are in the military you have a steady job and pretty much everything provided for you...just my opinion...be seeing you

Doesn't sound biased at all. You simply know what it feels like to be serving at Christmas time. I felt the same when I served. Just getting a letter, a card, a package is so uplifting and helps to ease the loneliness at that time.

just being in the military and having a job is not the point. Being away from loved ones at Christmas time is the point.

Actually I have been doing this for over 2 years now. I started way back.
You do have to be careful of some of the website I can't remember off the top of my head the one that scammed me for over a year before they were shut down and none of the money that I had sent went to one solider.
So yeah I believe in supporting the troops. Always have and always will
