We all know there is a lot of military men and women all over the world doing a lot of different things. Some of them had no chance to celebrate Christmas or New years at home and also didn't receive anything to make it better on them. I would like to try to put together a program on mingle where we get address's of people like this and we try to send them a little something to boost there spirits. So is there anyone out there with me

no disrespect to the military,but in these economic times wouldnt it be a better idea to put together care packages for the unemployed...again,no disrespect but if you are in the military you have a steady job and pretty much everything provided for you...just my opinion...be seeing you

I know i am in the states but i worked christmas and new years and never got anything. Doesn't sound biased at all. You simply know what it feels like to be serving at Christmas time. I felt the same when I served. Just getting a letter, a card, a package is so uplifting and helps to ease the loneliness at that time. |

I would send copies, but they are so hot they burn the paper the copies are on!

Actually I have been doing this for over 2 years now. I started way back.
You do have to be careful of some of the website I can't remember off the top of my head the one that scammed me for over a year before they were shut down and none of the money that I had sent went to one solider. So yeah I believe in supporting the troops. Always have and always will |
