There Is No Place Like Home
Oh, that is so easy for you to say. You have done this in every way. To you its clinical and just dandy. But doing it makes me feel randy. I get a totally different reaction. Doing it gives me a satisfaction. Sure I know it is part of the care. I know well that you are there. You looking over my shoulder. You know she is much older. Checking up on me like this. You don't even give me a kiss. Take her place on that small bed. Let you be embarrased instead. Find out what goes your head. Lets see then if it is so damn easy. Then you will understand queasy. Oh, sure laugh now and giggle. While you at it you can wiggle. Go spray some Lysol somewhere. I am really doing alright here. |

Happy, Joyous And Free
Just to be happy, joyous and free; That is all I have wanted to be. Able to hold my head up with you; And not have to be ashamed, too. To be around my sisters and brothers As we search for answers and discover A wonderful feeling we thought we lost Wanting to hold onto whatever the cost. Happy in the knowing it has got better. Joyous in the feeling we did it together. Free in the assurance life is brighter; As each step we take our load is lighter. |

Maverick, The Motherless God
Once while walking through the land of Nod I was to meet Maverick, the motherless god. Didn't know he was a god the first time though. First time he was just a kid in the back meadow. He used to have a mother and I did meet her. I had just never put one and one together. Strange that she had this god for a son. Thought surely she would of told someone. Oh, gods of insight that take me unaware. How a web can weave with no one there. Cobweb so invisible with gossamer strands. Opening up my eyes so more I understand. |

I've come to immerse my self in your words, I need calming and peace

I love peace. This poem is about a counselor friend I met. I have met her at some meetings. I met her son at another meeting. I have seen the two of them together. Tonight he broke down in tears. I had remember one thing that his mother had said in a meeting. He asked me if I knew that was his mother. I didn't. He is barred from being with his mother because of the law as she is a known addict like him. From listening to both of their stories in meetings separately it made some pieces fit into a puzzle that I was curious about her. It might make the poem make more sense and maybe not.

Side By Side
When I see our picture of us side by side With my arm around you holding you close My heart just fills up with so much pride. And I feel again like when we proposed That we should be together my friend When you were still with me long ago. Going down some road that dead end While turning back my arm on your elbow As onward we went just loving to ride. Like then I was such a happy fellow As we were in the picture side by side. |

In My Secret Garden
In my secret garden hid from view There is a treasure only for you. Others just walk past it everyday; It is invisible and safe that way. It is covered by vines from sight And not even detectable in light. But how it grows natural and free With tender loving care by me. |

Queen Of The Abyss
She was just a void and lived in inner space. Until one day she met a god without a face. They were both invisible and it was serene. But they had a fight as it became between. The god admitted it much to her surprise. She forgave him for the light in her eyes. He became a black hole to makes amends. Every since then they have been friends. |

If God Was An Athiest
If God was an Atheist and lost all hope Would you just tell him to see the Pope? Would you tell him to believe in divinity So he could have some form of serenity? Would you listen to all his pet peeves And be there till hes better and leaves? Would you tell him just to believe again Or could you be just an invisible friend? |

I Have A Friend Who Has Lupus
I have this wonderful friend I know who has lupus. When I screw up she makes me feel like a doofus. She holds onto life by sheer will with much pain. She always lets me know when its going to rain. I try to straighten up her twisted legs once again. Tears in my eyes I ask how do I do that my friend. Slowly she explains how to do the impossible deed. When she is not *****ing at me she is a friend indeed. |

Something Magic Happens
Something magic happens when I look into your eyes. Every time I get close to you I feel like I am hypnotized. Overpowering sensation that comes I can't hypothesize. I am become lost in your sensuality and am mesmerized. |

Ghost Angels
Watching her and eyes that see right through me. She smiles and once again I am lost in her serenity. I look at the deep bruises on her jaw contemplating How can she rest so peaceably and be so placating. With soft sounds and whispers of winded flutes My mind whirlwinds and thought does parachutes Of how when she was young she was different Than the aged woman who just lies indifferent To the agonizing pain of her twisted predicament. And I shout to the void and for it stands unheard While the bell tolls on her clock like little birds But no one comes to answer for my call is mute As I turn her to see her little smile that is cute. And the demons do not rejoice but they are still For ghost angels answer my call on forgotten hill. |

Bang The Walls
I bang the walls with religious fervor. Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. Can't get online; Maybe its my server? Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. Now I take it out on my poor computer. Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. Will tell insurance folks it was a intruder. Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. |

Angel On My Shoulder
You don't seem to understand, Eddie. Are you really sure that you are ready? Hell can be complicated and intricate. Nah, I think it is just like any syndicate. Are you different than another gangster? Vengeance you seek puts you in danger. You really don't see the bigger picture. I see no need to try to give you a lecture. You think that you have it all figured out. Eddie, he is just trying to make you doubt. Aren't you tired of jumping in his loops? Wouldn't you want to hear the full scoop? Just trust the angel on your shoulder, dear. One will take you out of bondage and fear. |

Love Me Up
Love me up and hold me tight. Let me be with you tonight. Walk with me and take my hand. You can be my special friend. Kiss my lips and feel my touch. I am not asking for that much. Take all of me deep inside. We can both smile with pride. Know my love and want my feel. We can help our hearts to heal. Know my body and touch my face. Welcome me to your secret place. Let our spirits join and mingle. Let our minds be one and single. Love me up and hold me tight. Let me be with you tonight. |

On The Lost Highway
On the lost highway where I first met you The wind echoes your name in whispers. The leaves talk to me while rustling so And I feel you deep in my soul so blue. While you hold me in your arms gently Letting me feel your caress so warm; I realize that I am not alone or lost For your comfort is magical like a charm. |

Play Misty For Me
Play misty for me my velvet tease. Go to her with my touch on lease. Make me feel lust without doubt. Then take my heart and rip it out. Play the games you know so well. Cast a shadow on my lonely shell. Why can't my head lead my heart? Didn't I knew that we must part? Just an old fool playing with fire. Darkness comes with fond desire. Shadows gather me to the abyss. The ambrosia of nirvana I do miss. |
