when someone says Hi: to you; do you say Hi back? Or, do you grunt? or, do you ignore the person? or, do you knod your head? or, do you give them a rasberry? or,do you say something else?

Normally smile at them and say "hello", but try to be the first to greet

when someone says Hi: to you; do you say Hi back? Or, do you grunt? or, do you ignore the person? or, do you knod your head? or, do you give them a rasberry? or,do you say something else? Why not say hi back? Being rude just to be rude, seems like a waste of energy to me. |

Usually if I am passing people and we make eye contact, I will say hi... also if anyone says hi to me first... I always respond. It is only polite to respond when spoken to in a friendly manner... regardless of who they are, or what they look like.

when someone says Hi: to you; do you say Hi back? Or, do you grunt? or, do you ignore the person? or, do you knod your head? or, do you give them a rasberry? or,do you say something else? lol, I say hello mostly, on returning someone's Hi... And I ALWAYS say 'Thank You' for a door that is opened for me, like a gas station, restaurant, in public, by a stranger... |

when someone says Hi: to you; do you say Hi back? Or, do you grunt? or, do you ignore the person? or, do you knod your head? or, do you give them a rasberry? or,do you say something else? Depends on my mood at the time. But "grunt" would be my default greeting. |
