In this recipe you don't even taste the buttermilk. All the more reason

I don't want any buttermilk in my custard pie, but now you made me
hungry and I have to go to house of pies. Just kidding, buttermilk is good in a lot of stuff, pancakes for one thing, and don't forget something to soak your cornbread in. Have you tried a sweet-potato pecan pie? Just a lot like a pecan pie but replace most of the corn syrup with sweet potato and sweeten to taste. I usually don't tell anybody about this fine combination, but you jsh people are so nice I'll break my rule here. |
