Topic: What is your personal movie? | |
---|---|
It appears most know WHO they don't want, and WHAT they don't want in a
partnership/romantic relationship, but how many know what they DO want? What is the personal movie that runs in your head, that fairytale, or 'ideal' of what a romantic relationship will look like, and why? I guess I am wondering how many really are ready, prepared, or even understand, what it is they seek from a romantic relationship... For me, in my understanding, to be successful in relating to others, you really need to know yourself, and have your ideals based in reality, for it to be long-lasting... I am curious to hear other's thoughts.. |

picking a movie is easy... but then you changed it up with the word
"reality"... cant have both a fairytale and reality... the problem with that is... the movie always ends when two people figure out that they are in love... so thats where the fairytale would end... you never get to see what happens when they have children, figure out that money doesnt grow on trees, have medical issues, and so on and so forth... the movie i would pick would be PRETTY WOMAN... way awsome that they fall in love with such different lives... but you never get to see past him "rescuing her".... |

Aww - well I was going to say "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead"
was "my movie", but it's not my romance flick. "Say Anything", maybe. Or possibly "Princess Bride", though that's a little obvious. |
