I was raised with guns. When I was at the academy when I was working at the prison, we had to qualify using rifles and shotguns. I had not fired either in about 10 and we didn't get to practice. I tied for 1st on the rifle and 3rd on the shotgun(which I knew I couldn't miss so didn't try too hard on). The one I tied with on the rifle was a young man who was a hunter, so had plenty of practice the previous hunting season. The captain who was in charge told him that if I had been able to practice, I would have beat him!

In my family even my grandmother hunted!! They show you how to load, but not really how to aim and stuff. I don't really remember, but I think my grandmother is the one who showed me!
