I had read of this. Very sad. Haven't liked a single movie the guy has been in since Carrie, but my heart goes out to him nonetheless.

I am a fan of his, but at this very moment thats a very distant second to this. We lost my sister 9 years ago and I watched what my mother went through. I don't wish that on anyone.

If I lost my daughter...I couldn't even think of that! Easily my worst fear. I hate reading about the children dying in the Gaza strip because of the bombs falling there. Absolutely pointless. No parent should have to go through losing a child. Unfortunately our world just doesn't work that way.

I've been a big fan of John Travolta as long as I can remember (Welcome Back Kotter, anyone?). He just always struck me as someone who would be a really good person to have as a friend. I can't even begin to imagine the pain he and his family are going through.

As much as the fact someone lost their child breaks my heart period, especially the fact that he really was a child of just 16 years old. John Travolta and Kelly Preston just seem like the kind of people who worship their children (meaning that in the best way), I really wish them all the strength in the world.
