And what is also certain is if Isreal hadn't turned the Gaza Strip into a Concentration Camp, they probably wouldn't be getting shot at by overblown bottlerockets.

this is over the top and even you know it!

laugh

if Hamas had chosen to build farms, schools, hospitals, and live peacefully, the Gaza strip could have prospered but that is not their agenda. they are militant radical islamists who see themselves as holy warriors. this is at the heart of the problem. Hamas most vocally derides the UN security council peace intiatives. they will never voluntarily stop firing rockets and disarm. so it will have to be done involuntarily. but it will have to be done for peace to exist in Gaza.

Yes, Interesting how that name shows up over and over.drinker

I find this part very interesting.
To those who think it was always Israel-----

This was how the British manipulated, and used the Jews. They knew that they were the only option the Jews had. The British knew that they could make their offer to the extent that it was enough for the Jews to go along with them into war, but not so much as to help dethrone the Palestinian government.

There are certain names that just pop up over and over when you look at the horrors of history.

From the Rothschilds, to Margerate Singer, to those who worked for Hitler coming over via OP Paperclip like Mengele... on and on it goes. Rockefellers are another name that does that, as is Bush.

In 70 years or so, the Palestinians have gone from a very cooperative government and State to a confined, cornered, and beaten people who's only means to fight back is classified as terrorism
Yet they still fight on....

Sounds like a real underdog story from a proud and resilient people!

Oh, and while we give them arms and funds, they reward America with this:

Vet Pleads Guilty to Spying for Israel

December 31, 2008
Military.com|by Bryant Jordan An 85-year-old Army veteran of World War II pleaded guilty Tuesday in New York to one count of spying for Israel during the 1980s while an engineer at the Army's Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.

But the admitted spy, Ben-Ami Kadish, will not be doing any prison time if the judge in the case goes along with an agreement reached between Kadish's attorney and U.S. Attorney Iris Lan.

According to court papers the government "does not oppose, and will not object to, a non-incarceratory sentence."

The government claims Kadish passed information to an Israeli agent working out of Israel's consulate in New York, officially as Consul for Science Affairs, according to the Justice Department. The agent was identified as Yossi Yagur, who also was the handler for Jonathan Pollard, a Navy analyst who was convicted of spying for Israel in the mid-1980s and is now serving life in prison.

Though the exact nature of Pollard's espionage has never been divulged, reports indicate it dealt with encryption manuals that eventually ended up in the hands of the Soviet Union, possibly resulting in the deaths of American assets there.

Prosecutors in the Kadish case claim the classified information he passed to Israel included material on U.S. missile defense systems.

In a statement of facts provided to Military.com, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said it would, if Kadish's case went to trial, prove that Kadish obtained classified documents from Picatinny and turned them over to Yagur.

The court paper also states that Kadish provided the documents to Yagur "for the benefit of Israel" and neither asked for nor received anything in return for them.

While the statement acknowledges these actions, Kadish pleaded guilty only to participating in a conspiracy to act as an unregistered agent of Israel. Three other charges brought against Kadish in April were dropped. These included conspiring to disclose U.S. national defense documents to Israel; conspiring to hinder an investigation; and conspiring to make a false statement to an investigator.

Kadish is scheduled for sentencing on Feb. 13, which could reach a maximum of five years in prison and $250,000 in fines, though Judge William Pauley could honor the deal reached between Lan and Kadish's attorney, Jack Litman.

Philip Giraldi, a former CIA counter-terrorism specialist who now writes on intelligence issues, said recently that the Kadish case had all but disappeared.

His attempts to follow it through court filings came up empty, which suggested to him that a deal was in the works, he told Military.com.

"I'm disappointed that this is little more than a slap on the wrist for a case of serious espionage," he said.

The Israeli Embassy did not respond to an email and phone calls from Military.com seeking comment.

Kadish was arrested in April and released on $300,000 bond. Since then he has continued to live at his Clifton, N.J., home.

According to a 2006 feature story on him in the New Jersey Jewish News, Kadish served in both the British and U.S. militaries during World War II, before serving in the Haganah in Palestine. The Haganah was a paramilitary group that eventually formed the core of the Israeli Defense Forces.

In the United States in the 1970s, Kadish worked for the Army and co-developed a target-sensing device that helped zero in warhead strikes, according to a U.S. patent dated Dec. 20, 1977.
-------------------------------------------------

Only difference now is, instead of overt spying, they just position guys like former IDF officer and dual citizen Rahm Emanuel to high offices of power.

if Hamas had chosen to build farms, schools, hospitals, and live peacefully,

You mean if they had cowed at the feet of the Israeli's and just accepted their defeat and the demands of their terrorist occupiers!

Fight on Hamas. Fight on Palestine.
Better to die brave than submit as a beaten coward!

Wiki-

"Gazan industry has been reduced to shambles because of the ongoing economic "closure" imposed by Israel. Because they are no longer able to import materials or export goods, 95% of Gazan factories closed since the imposition of closure policies following Israel's 2005 disengagement."

"A human rights coalition charged March 6, 2008 that the humanitarian situation in Gaza had reached its worst point since Israel occupied the territory in the 1967 Six-Day War."

It sounds like Warmachine isn't too off base.

I read as many sides and sources as possible and make my own opinion.

Did I mention I read?

It sure does change ones perspective on the world, when one stops relying on the T.V. for anything more than entertainment.

This is slanted. Gazan industry has been reduced to shambles because Hamas terrorist activities necessitated border closures to prevent the strengthening of Hamas and the export of bombers and rockets.

No. My path to peace has already been stated. My path to peace is to quit unequivocal support of Israel!
My path to peace is precise and un yeilding.
My path to peace is...........

To show the world we are changing, and do it from a position of strength!

1.) We should move a Naval Fleet into the Med. directly off shore of the Gaza strip, and demand Israel pull out or we will target all of their fighters and artillery!
At the same time we should tell the Palestinians that we will offer this protection as long as they cease firing rockets at Israel.
2.) We should then demand both countries enter into negotiations with us aboard a US Navy cruiser!
5.) We should order Israel to withdraw to the UN Mandate of 1948. Move Marines and Army Divisions (F*ck the UN) into place as moderators until Israel gets the message that the days of unconditional US support and subjucation to them are over!

Hamas has had power for how long? Before that it was Fatah and the PLO. So where does the blame land? Once again, are we to say that all Palestinians are just bad evil people, no matter what and Isreal is never wrong, because thats the vibe I'm getting from certain people.

The blame falls in both camps, with the difference being, it really wouldn't be much different if we went in and massacred a population, destroyed their infrastructure, limited their opportunities to feed and care for their families and chose to occupy their land, all under the auspices of "defensive" action and with far superior firepower, all the while claiming the moral highground regardless of what's actually going on in the area.

Oh, wait... slaphead

Gaza Toll at 765: Olmert Looks to Escalate Attacks
Growing Calls for Truce as Civilian Toll Soars
Posted January 8, 2009

As rescue teams continue to pull bodies from the wreckage that two weeks ago was the Gaza Strip, the death toll now sits at 765, and is expected to rise even further in the days to come.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak told reservists that despite multiple international efforts to bring the Israeli offensive to a halt, the operation in Gaza will continue. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said “the decision about how we make sure that the quiet in the South remains is still before us, and the Israel Defense Forces has still not been asked to carry out everything that is necessary to achieve this,” suggesting the attacks may not only continue, but actually expand in the coming days.

The rising death toll, as well as criticism from the United Nations and the Red Cross about Israel’s overall conduct during the war, are adding to the growing calls for Israel to wrap up its attacks as soon as possible. The Red Cross is accusing Israel of violating international law, while the United Nations announced earlier that they would suspend aid shipments to the Gaza Strip until the Israeli military promised to stop attacking their aid workers.
