I got put in that situation with a coworker. Talk about blindsided! I was pretty stunned that she even asked considering I just got divorced 2 weeks before she asked me. I just kinda looked at her with a blank look on my face and told her I wasn't really ready for a relationship.

Say:
"I'm flattered, but no thank you. Oh.....flattered? It means that you complimented me by asking....no...no, it has nothing to do with being run over by a truck. Yes, I'm sure. Bye bye now.." :D |

i always say no whenever a dude aske me out for the first time anyhow. well i say im busy...etc, etc, etc, etc Interesting... No just to some, or no to anyone that asks the first time... Personally I don't have time for games... So if I ask and no it is than ask again I shall not... |

Well it would really depend on the situation... and of course I know how much effort if must have been for them to summon up the courage to begin with, especially if they felt anywhere close to what you are describing as unattractive/unintelligent...
But most definetely would be honest up front, and say that I really wasn't looking for a relationship at the moment... |
