The bus itself was a 1957 Chevrolet, purchased from the Orange County California school district. After the show was cancelled, the bus was sold several times. It was finally abandoned in the parking lot of Lucy's Tacos in East Los Angeles. The bus was junked in 1987. In 1993, when David Cassidy toured the country, he traveled aboard a new bus painted to look like the original. The second bus was on display at Universal Studios in Florida, but I don't know if it still is. I have no idea why I always am able to retain all this trivial sh!t.
