Afternoon everyone.....
We had some excitement here today...The house 3 doors down from me burnt down today and it caught on to the 2nd house down from us..The police were here twice to let us know that we might have to leave (just in case it spread to the next house too) but they now have it under control...  The good thing is that they were able to get the Elder woman out of there and rescued all her cats...  It's minus 46 out there and the firemen, policemen, ambulace crew and all the rescue people have been out there all day doing what they have to do....All I can say is thank God that they are here for us when we need them.... So any that are here in the land of JSH/Mingle??... My deepest thanks (gitch~meegwetch) and gratitude...

Afternoon everyone..... My little family and I are safe...
 The fire didn't make it down this far and they are busy now trying to do the clean up and get the hoses rolled back up before they freeze... The Elder who lost her house will need all the prayers that she can get as she has no family here...I'm going to go talk to a few of the neighbours and see if we can get some things donated for her...Start a drive to help her get back on her feet...I just talked to her the other day as my son was shoveling her driveway and gave her a plate of goodies that were from Christmas...She had told me that she has lived in that house for over 50 years... I guess she will be moving onto an apartment sooner than she had thought... As long as she is safe that is all that matters....
