i think someone can give you lingerie if they want to see you in it. A boy/girl friend can give it, and girls i guess can give it to good friends. but if a guy friend gives a girl lingerie, chances are they'd want to see you in it.

I'd rather get them jewelery or something else and see them naked.

If a man should want to give me the gift of Lingerie, we better be at that point in the relationship or things could go badly for him.
 If we ARE at that point and my lover wants to see me get dressed up...all I can say is I hope I don't disappoint.
