Do you believe there is no point in being in a relationship that's not leading to marriage? Disagree...there can be "a point" to a relationship without marriage - even if it's fun, friendship or just a wait-n'-see situation. As long as both parties are okay with it...enjoy!

Do you believe there is no point in being in a relationship that's not leading to marriage? I am not looking for marriage right now I just want someone that I know is their for me. A relationship that's not leading to marriage is not a bad relationship it's just a relationship that the two people need or want.

Although that is what we are taught growing up that we have to get married, otherwise it is wrong, sinful, etc., the world has changed so much and so fast, that it should be a personal choice. The point shouldn't be about rings, papers, and names, it should be about the heart and soul connecting on the same deep levels, and working toward a life together, however you both agree to.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for marriage then, yes you are wasting your time. If you are not looking for that right at that time then you have nothing to loose.

Marriage is irrelevant once your kids are raised. A relationship is something that exists independent of marriage. You can be married without a relationship; you can have a relationship with out a marriage. And yes, I believe there is a point to a relationship. Well put. I agree.

Do you believe there is no point in being in a relationship that's not leading to marriage? i think that every relationship, serves a particular function, at various intervals of your life. i also believe that even if a relationship ends, it isn't necessarily a failure, that each person came into your life for a specific reason, at a time they were needed, and that it probably served whatever purpose it was supposed to. so, no, i don't believe that every relationship needs to end in marriage. however, i do believe IN marriage.

It depends on what you want. I like being married. So I am looking for someone who wants marriage. So for me, I don't want any other kind of relationship.
