I'd have to really wonder about a person who I have never really met in person iviting me to stay at their house. I would make sure I had hotel reservations just in case the meeting didn't go to well.

All depends. I have gone to meet someone for the first time and stayed in their house. A lot of it depends on how well you think you can control the situation. Oh, and how risk willing you are. I am fairly risk willing, i.e., I'll take the chance I am going to wake up in a hotel bathtub covered in ice with a note taped to my chest that I am missing a kidney.

I booked a B&B as a back-up in case there was no spark the last time I tried a LDR.

Hotel, unless something different happens. But I would have the hotel ready.

I'd have to concur with the majority here: hotel. Even if it was instant chemistry, let's do neutral territory with no "home advantage."

Well obviously a hotel....it would just be inconsiderate to trash her bedroom and ruin her sheets on the first meeting.
