Does a man that likes "bigger" women, cut down on those that are skinny? I think that not everybody likes the same things.
There are people that really don't like the idea of their ex finding somebody else. It doesn't matter who they are, how good looking they are, how powerful they are, nor how they rich they are.

This seems pointless...

Instead of defending what is a tough position to defend you might want to consider what most have said. Grace and humility might be the ticket. You can be assertive without being arrogant and selective without being demeaning.

How am I acting like I am "really something special." What did I do? Is it because I posted on this thread? Is it because i changed my profile, when others said that i should write more? Is it because that I try to reply to what others said here?

There are some points in life where you bite your tongue and smile. This is one such time my friend. If i have to put it to you bluntly.. they are saying - you are looking for the perfect person but you yourself are not perfect. Your dream perhaps - but the rest of us live on plant earth.

You know the great thing about looks? They never last as long as a good relationship will.

To each their own man. It's good to be picky and selective, but if you're TOO picky it will limit your possibilities of finding a date.

Actually, your photo is all that anyone has to go by about you. I would assume (jumping off a cliff here) that you are creative, moody and that you're high school grad because your spelling isn't too bad. I'd also assume from your interests that you enjoy your own company and don't spend a lot of time with other people. This may be shyness or a form of antisocial tendencies. Going back to the blurry photo ....

You're 36 and never been married which reinforces my idea that you are a solitary soul.

Take some of you solitary time and a notebook and write some things downs. Stream of consciousness things, about yourself, what you like, what you want. Just say what comes to mind. Then edit it and put it here.
