I thought they stopped taking tonsils out. If they want to there must be a damn good reason or get a 2nd opinion .

i had my ones out at 5. yea it sucks to have it done to say the least. my friend is in the hospital right now he just had it done and it is just one of the things they have to do. when they ask if you want something for the pain take it every time that ask. and tell them to give you one of your meds before you go home to see if it is strong enough.and tell them to have all your meds you need for the up coming week before you will leave other wise it sucks to have to go get them when in pain.get a big box of Popsicle s before you leave so when you come home you already have them.ps set your alarm to wake up to take your meds other wise it takes time for them to kick in.good luck i hope it all works out.

I thought they stopped taking tonsils out. If they want to there must be a damn good reason or get a 2nd opinion . They still take tonsils out. I was just watching a video on it. My child was getting a lot of throat infections. The pediatrician said no to the surgery. The ENT says yes. They don't do them as quickly as they used to do them. |

I was 20 when I had mine out. The older you are the harder the surgery is. I was in the hospital for a week and a half just for a tonsillectomy
but afterwards I felt MUCH better and wouldn't have done anything different |
