My last dating situation (6 mos. into & already paid and prepared to move into a 3 BR home together) ended while I was at work. No warning or words since: went back to her ex-husband that day in Sept. '08 and remarried him in 3 weeks. Nothing since that day she left.
Yesterday, I get a call from a girlfriend of hers leaving me a message telling me they had been talking, and my ex had told her she needed to call me as we might "get along" if I was interested. Well, I'm not ready to think about dating after only 3 months, but my question is, without influencing anyone's answer, "What is this?" | |

I had a decent relationship start out in the same way. It was her way of apologizing. I think you should consider it but only when you are ready. Be sure to tell the new lady your just not ready yet if you decide to give her a shot later.

She's offering a sacrificial lamb consolation prize in the form of a needy friend so that the need friend won't try to steal her husband????

Naw, I ain't bitin'. I just can't figure out the why of it. The motive? Or if it's just to rub salt in the wounds? Think it PO'd my daughters as much as me.

Sounds like birds of a feather hanging together; just setting you up to be played again. I wouldn't acknowledge either were breathing. You deserve better.

| Sounds like birds of a feather hanging together; just setting you up to be played again. I wouldn't acknowledge either were breathing. You deserve better. Thanks so much. I don't deserve better, but I don't deserve that. I'm one of those people who's glad that life's not fair; otherwise, mine would be worse. I think what hurt most was that someone would think I would even be able to date again after only 3 or 4 months. I know some can, but not me. Thanks again. | |

Love ya, man. Go for it | |
