I really burned myself out trying to be ALL for too many people. I was so busy filling others' egos and "love tanks", but wasnt' getting a return. So, I've still got to work on it sometimes, but I'm much more picky now on who gets my efforts. I'm lonely, too. You may think I'm nuts but I turned down a dinner offer as I've been kind of down and introspective lately and I knew I'd be having to try to be all perky and peppy for the guy who wanted to go out, and I haven't met him yet, then I found out it is his birthday. He's kind of upset with me about it, but I thought, lonely as I am, I want to take care of myself and not be "the entertainer" and "the listener" tonight. I want a peaceful night.

do you try to be everthing to everyone ??? Yep, I always put everything and everyone first in my life. I am not sure how it feels to do anything for myself anymore. Even my stinkin boss, she lays me off and so far since 12/22/08, I've done almost 20 hours of work for her and not getting a red cent for it. I think I've done this for so long, that its just habit for me. I feel guilty when I do anything for myself, I buy myself something, I feel guilty and return it. |

do feel like it's going to tear you apart at time's ???? You can't do it all.. I tried all the time and then when I was 23 and pregnant with my 4th child, I had a breakdown... you have to have priorities...just learn to say no if you don't feel you can do or handle it...
