That's funny. I've never heard another reader to claim they re-read. I do. Just finished William Gibson's "Pattern Recognition" for the second time. My head is still trying to wrap itself around that one and I'm relatively bright. Love books that do that.

Well, I was an English Major at penn State so I love the classics. Great Gatsby, Catcher In The Rye, Invisible Man (Ellison), Crime and Punishment (or anr Dostyvoesky, for that Matter), Kant, Camus,etc.... But seriously it was the beats that got me writin'...Burroughs, Kerouac, Bukowski(not a beat, but you know) Corso, Ginsberg....

No, yr thinkin' of Orson WELLS. George Orwell wrote 1984, And Animal Farm. He was kind'a political/fiction writer, along the lines vof Huxleys Brand New World. Wrote about a negative utopia.
