Have you ever been "tired of being in love?"
Have you ever just needed a break from a relationship to regain a sense of who you are as an individual? |

Being in love is ok if you truly are compatiable, but its better to love yourself that way you will never get hurt if things don't work out.

Have you ever been "tired of being in love?" Have you ever just needed a break from a relationship to regain a sense of who you are as an individual? Not so much to get a sense of what I am as it is my just wanting to get the person in question out of my sight. |

Only with a person who doesn't love me back. You said it! I've been hanging onto the edge of the "could fall for them" cliff for a while and I know, in my mind, that I should climb back up to safety. It's just that the fluttery feeling is so great when it's going on... I don't think I'm in love, but am reminded that love grows old fast when it's not reciprocated. |

It seems like when you get tired of it, you may not be in love anymore. My problem is, how to break it off without hurting him when it becomes obvious that we're not really as compatible as we originally thought.

If you're really in love, how could you get tired of it? I don't know if I've ever been truly in love with anyone (infatuated, yes. Loving toward them, yes), so I'm no expert, but being in love is supposed to be something you never want to go away, isn't it?
I'd love to be there, someday. I might be 85 and senile by then, but....... |

Years ago. I have more important things to carry out, such as straightening the wires to my car stereo.
