wow I can't even imagine that and I live in a pretty peaceful city , but nothing like that. Talk about a peace of Heaven I think you found it! What is the population? Population is 7000. I live on two acres about half a mile outside of town. Although there are several homes out here I still have my own little piece of peace and quiet. And if I want I can go fishing in the stream that flows right through my property. |

Ron, it use to be like that here! But the city starting coming my way. Next thing you know I have people all around me. All my horse trails are gone replaced with houses. I can get away with all livestock because I am zoned agriculture. I ought to get me a rooster and see what these city folk think of a rooster crowing.  I imagine one day that might happen out here. While Lander may never be a Jackson Hole we will in time be a very p;opular town to retire in. A few years back Lander was on a list of the top ten mountain towns to live in. I say get the rooster. |

As much as I love living on the beach there are some comforts of country living I really do miss. Trust and honesty among neighbors is a way of life, that I do miss. City and urban living does take that away. Small towns are great. But I still enjoy what the city has to offer. Like restraunts. Good ones. |

Not a stupid question...there is no such thing as a stupid question!  Yeah, you can eat a rooster...that is where most rooster end up. Only need one rooster and alot of hens. But you don't need a fox in the hen house
