how about cancellations? it's almost every single time that i travel, i have issues with the airline. robin and i woke up at about 6:00 a.m. and drove into town, for a 9:30 departure only to find it had been delayed. so we went for a quick breakfast, only to receive a voice mail after we'd eaten. we had over 5 hours to kill. then the plane in dallas was delayed a further 30 minutes cause they needed to do a security check on it since it was an international flight. then once seated, there was another 30 minute delay cause smoke was coming out of somewhere. i took a tranquilizer and went to sleep. ~~~ each time, i get so discouraged and never want to step foot on another plane. and then i remember how much i love him and that all that is just the small stuff compared to being together. |

oh yeah, i made it home - about 1:00 a.m. - almost 8 hours later than expected
