Choosing a bed is like choosing underwear, it's personal, and depends on
individual taste...Kathleen, only you can choose a bed that is right for you. I don't sleep  well not a lot, and had slept in the Japanese way, ( a mat on the floor) for over 25 years, I bought a traditional (?) queen size bed only a year ago, and for a while there it felt like I had vertigo, and was 400 miles off the ground..
