My carefree Laughter You will not be able to Recall. Think you hear it upon the Winds Passing thru the Trees? My courageous and loving Heart You will not be able to Embrace. Think you recognize it upon the Silver screen? My gentle Touch You will not be able to Experience. Think you feel it upon you Dancing across your Skin? My unconditional Love You will not be able to Grasp. Think you felt its warm Glow Illuminating your Space? Soon.. Very soon.. I will only become a Vaporized Memory to You. 12292008

Storm, It takes a special talent and quality of the heart to state something plainly, and yet, still evoke an image at the same time - which you have done. I feel, reading your poem, like I've been given a look inside your heart - like I've been able to feel your actual emotions - and not just because I can identify with them. I find myself, also, feeling the conflicting emotions which your poem was forged from. It's great, Storm, truly great - like the best country songs.
