Some people work to save money and build a better life for themselves. Me? I work just to get to my next pay cheque.

This is supposed to be my winter break from school, a time to relax, but NO! I decide to take on extra shifts, causing me to work 7 days a week, and durring those slim times that I am not working, I am too tired to do anything, so I am either sleeping, or trying to get my house in order.

Take today for an example. Today alone, I have cleaned my bathroom, did my dishes, swept, mopped and vacuumed, and even did laundry. squeezed in an hour sleep, and still have to shower straighten my hair, do my make up just to be at work for 5pm. Work till 10pm, then come home sleep and back up at 3:45am, to get ready for work again. frustrated frustrated

I know that I should be happy that I even have a job, but it is wearing my thinner then tissue paper. sad yawn asleep

Sorry just complaining. I shall live, I always seem to. Some strange way, not sure how, but I do survive.

Wow, go ahead and brag. Rub it in my face - you have such a glorious life and mine is all I have. THANKS!

Hmmm I could provide you with some make up and my hair straightner, and you could save me those steps if yea really like!

In order to be free of that kind of slavery you have to keep your overhead very low and watch your spending.

I am an artist and in order to have time to do my art I have to live below my means. My freedom is more important to me than buying things. I have learned to live on very little. Being self employed is a feast or famine proposition. Sometimes you can make some money and sometimes you don't.

Ohhh, sad as it is, it is times like this you need to think about how much worse it could be.

You'll get through it, and look back on this fondly....

Not sure about the fondly, but definitely agree how much worse it could be.

I'm taking my time without a job to seriously work on my resume, and took advantage of the Right Management classes my former employer offered all those let go.

I'm discovering (or better yet being reminded)Of what a true 'find' I am to an employer. I refuse to let my situation get me down, but instead am finding creative ways to appreciate the 'down time'.

Of course suffering is relative, but the more we see it from the glass 1/2 full the happier people we become.

EXERCISE too! It releases endorphins bigsmile bigsmile bigsmile bigsmile to keep the positive attitude going
