Many of you may not believe...and thats ok... but I feel like I want to share this

My little brother died 11 years ago in a car accident. Over the years he has left me many hearts. One being in soap bubble on shower door. a crystal heart in my new home. A hair curled into a heart in the shower. and many many more I can share if you really want to know.

X-mas eve i went to my parents and my mother was in tears on her couch. When I asked what was wrong she pointed at the wall. They had taken my brothers picture down as they had gotten a big screen tv. They did this the night previous. When I looked at the wall.. in the dust...was the perfect shape of yet another one of my brothers hearts. I had many left for me, but that was the first for my mom... i have a pic of that as well if anyone wants to see it...

when my brother died... i put a picture of me and my son in his shirt pocket(over his heart) so me and my son would always be the closest thing to his heart.

after we buried him... i put the tattoo he had on his arm over my heart. and added his initials and a teardrop

There was a kid I went to high school with (I think he was a year or two behind me -- I graduated with his sister) who was also killed in a car accident. Each of the kids in his family had their own Christmas angel ornament that their mother would display on the mantle. When his mom started decorating for Christmas the year he was killed, she couldn't find his angel. She went from room to room through the house searching for it, but couldn't. Dejected, she walked back into the living room, and there was Joe's angel, lying in the middle of the floor.

This story was even on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries.

I did the same thing, put a picture of my brother and I in my dads pocket near his heart.

I wanted to always be the closest to his heart

we also saw his angel a few months after he died

I did the same for my father. I put a picture of him and I in with him. It's weird but I knew 2 weeks before Christmas 4 yrs ago that he was going to die on Christmas Day. It was his absolute favorite holiday and he acted like a big kid.
