Maybe I'm under a misconception...but unless otherwise stated on a profile, I would assume that people on a dating site Forum would want to put their best foot forward regarding their posts in hopes of attracting a date/mate.

Take for instance, The Master Debaters... One could hold up a beautiful, polished red apple...& yet, they would insist it was green & teeming with worms. Do they really think that the opposite sex would be attracted so someone so seemingly bent on arguing just for the sake of argument?

Or the Misogynists, The Man-Haters, & of course, the obvious Trolls... Is that what Internet "Dating" has come down to?

don't like argumentive people on these threads... and I try to give the best possible image of how I see myself and my views.... we all have little quirks in a profile.. but the ones that believe this is a forum to stir up people well I can do with out..... no stress no anxiety needed or wanted is my motto..

I would rather like to see someone be "real" whether it be good or bad. Best foot forward is fine for the first while but do you really get to know that person????

We are all good and bad in different respects. I would rather someone like me for me, and all of my faults then just like me because I was "being" nice on the internet!!

Internet dating is like life everyone is welcome, when we start saying these shouldn't be here and those shouldn't do that then that's when we start to be blind to the diversity of human being good or bad and when you have a blind eye you can miss so many things.

some people are just plain miserable and like to do everything they can to make others miserable. Ignore it, it goes away.

about 10 years ago I got into an argument with a guy on why the grass is green and I told him its cause someone said that color is green he then got scientific on me and would accept the fact that green is green caouse someone named it green. I had to leave the bar before that conversation ended. The things drinking will bring up in conversation.

I don't believe that I am saying who should or shouldn't participate on a site...I'm just trying to understand the negative motivations...
