mommyof1 needs overall prayer, for finances, to find a job, to know that the Lord will never forsake her or her son.

Desperate Times

Lord it’s getting to be desperate times
Why do you seem to delay?
In responding to my pressing needs
That I remind you of each day

In my mind I know that you
Will come through in the end
But in my heart emotions rise
And I worry and fret again

Help me Lord at those times
To give it again to you
Help me know deep in my heart
That you will pull me through

And that you fully understand
Exactly where I’m at
Though circumstances do not change
In you I shall not lack

Everything when given to you
Will work out for my good
For when I cast my care on you
It’s then that it’s understood

That it’s just a matter of your timing
In responding to my need
For often it’s because you’re doing
A deeper work in me

So all that’s left for me to do
The one thing that is sure
Is to put my trust in you each day
For nothing matters more





Get Well Soon My Precious Sister

Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the Name of Jesus, thanking you for your goodness to us. Thank you Lord that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace to obtain grace and mercy in our time of need. I lift up mommyof1 to you today, and ask for you to strengthen and encourage her. That she would receive the comfort and love that only You can give. Your Word tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in all things with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving in our hearts to present our requests to you. Then the peace of God that passes all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We lift the petitions named above to you, thanking You that You supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Thank you that you stick closer than a brother and that you will never leave her nor forsake her. Thank you for surrounding her with friends who care. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
